Role at a glance
We’re hiring an Engineering Team Lead on a contractor basis. The role calls for executive-level experience and is based fully on-site in the United Kingdom.
Your impact
- Coach and mentor engineers across the squad, helping them sharpen their technical skills and map out clear paths for career growth.
- Partner with the Product Manager to plan, resource, and schedule upcoming work while keeping day-to-day delivery on track.
- Drive a high-performance culture that blends strong system design, clean architecture, and measurable results.
What you'll need
You bring roughly ten years of engineering experience and a genuine passion for both leadership and hands-on full-stack delivery. Our stack is Microsoft-centric, so you’re comfortable writing production-grade C# with .NET and .NET Core, while also guiding front-end work in React, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML. You understand SOLID principles, Event-Driven Architecture, and Domain-Driven Design, and you’ve designed RESTful APIs and cloud-native solutions on Azure. SQL skills and a solid grasp of Test-Driven Development using tools such as NUnit, SpecFlow, or Selenium round out your technical toolkit. Just as important, you communicate clearly with both engineers and non-technical stakeholders, listen actively, and take initiative to move projects forward. You’re also eager to coach junior colleagues and foster an inclusive, collaborative environment.
