What you bring

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Team Lead to join us in a full-time, remote capacity from anywhere. In this role, you will be the driving force behind our backend engineering team, ensuring that our platform remains the top choice for nonprofits worldwide. You will lead by example, blending hands-on technical expertise with a focus on people management and product-led growth.

• Collaborate directly with our CTO to shape and execute our backend engineering strategy.
• Mentor and grow a talented team of backend developers while refining our internal workflows and engineering best practices.
• Take ownership of our system architecture to ensure that our code remains secure, performant, and highly scalable.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have at least five years of experience building and deploying scalable production software, with a deep mastery of PHP and Laravel. We are looking for someone who excels at managing remote teams and has a proven track record in mentorship and clear communication. You should be comfortable overseeing system architecture with a focus on reliability and security. A strong candidate will be a self-starter who thrives in a product-led growth environment, values high-quality code, and brings a collaborative, solution-oriented mindset to the table. Proficiency in English is required for this position.
