At Mable, we are driven by a clear purpose. Since 2014, our online platform has connected Australians in need of aged care and disability support with independent workers, helping our community achieve their own version of independence. As one of the largest and fastest-growing healthtech platforms in Australia, we have been honored with awards like the Australian Technology Growth Company of the Year and featured on the AFR Fast 100 list. We are looking for a talented Engineering Team Lead to join our team and help us continue reshaping the care sector.
What you'll be doing
- Collaborate within a cross-functional squad to build and deliver high-quality features while managing your direct reports.
- Partner with your product manager to refine the product backlog, ensuring epics are broken down into manageable tasks and prioritized effectively.
- Champion modern engineering standards, including Test Driven Development, pair programming, and efficient DevOps practices like CI/CD pipelines to ensure our software remains robust and scalable.
What you'll bring
To succeed in this role, you should have a strong background in Salesforce development and administration, along with proven experience in a leadership capacity. We are looking for someone who communicates clearly and maintains a team-oriented mindset while constantly striving to improve the quality of our codebase. You should also possess the following:
- A solid understanding of software design patterns and their practical application.
- Familiarity with the testing pyramid and specific testing frameworks within the Salesforce ecosystem.

- Generous paid time off, including a floating public holiday, birthday leave, and wellbeing days.
- Access to paid parental leave for primary and secondary carers.
- The chance to work from overseas for up to 4 weeks every year.
- Participation in our reward and recognition program to celebrate your performance and wins.
