The role

We are looking for a Senior Engineering Manager to join our User Data team on a full-time, remote basis. In this role, you will lead the team responsible for our Customer Data Platform, which serves as a critical real-time system of record for user and audience data. You will be a key driver in shaping the technical direction of our platform while fostering a high-performing, collaborative environment for your engineers.

Core responsibilities

• Lead the development of large-scale, foundational systems that manage real-time user and audience data.
• Partner with product management to define team strategy, oversee execution, and manage planning cycles.
• Mentor and grow your direct reports by providing performance feedback, guiding career development, and actively recruiting new talent.

Skills and experience

To be successful in this position, you should possess the following qualifications:

• At least 2 years of experience in engineering management, supported by a strong background as a software engineer.
• Proven technical expertise in addressing scalability challenges within complex systems.
• A strong product mindset with experience driving business impact alongside product managers.
• A demonstrated record of developing team members and facilitating meaningful professional growth.
• A proactive approach to headcount planning and a passion for building healthy, high-functioning organizations.
• Strong communication skills in English.

Compensation and benefits

For this full-time role, the base salary is between $200,000 and $215,000 for candidates based in California or New York, with the final offer determined by your specific experience and qualifications. In addition to the base salary, we provide a competitive equity program and comprehensive benefits.
