What is this role?
We are seeking a Mid-Level Engineering Manager to join us on a full-time basis. This is a hybrid role based in Hyderabad, where you will lead both local and remote teams. You will report directly to a Senior Engineering Manager or an Engineering Director, playing a pivotal role in helping us scale our technical operations while managing teams of varying sizes.
What will you do?
- Lead and support teams of Backend, iOS, and Android engineers to deliver high-quality products.
- Drive product strategy by setting clear project goals and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Provide dedicated mentorship to your engineers, helping them grow their careers while implementing processes that allow our team to scale effectively.
What makes you a great fit?
You are a natural leader with at least two years of experience as a line manager. You have a background as a Software Engineer, which helps you relate to the challenges your team faces while building user-focused products. We value candidates who have experience in:
- Managing and building high-performing engineering teams.
- Collaborating across different departments, including product, design, and operations.
- Guiding team members through performance reviews and goal setting to ensure collective success.
- Communicating effectively in English.
