What you bring

We are seeking an Engineering Manager to join our Java Core product area on a full-time basis. In this role, you will lead a cross-functional team, fostering a culture of trust while ensuring we deliver high-quality features to our players. You will be based on-site in our Stockholm studio, working closely with producers and other managers to align our technical strategy with our creative goals. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Building and nurturing a high-performing team by recruiting, coaching, and supporting the professional growth of our engineers.
• Guiding the team in maintaining technical health, managing technical debt, and upholding high quality standards.
• Collaborating with tech leads and producers to ensure our development plans are feasible and aligned with our long-term vision.

Requirements

The ideal candidate is a natural leader who is genuinely passionate about software development and people management. You should have a proven track record of guiding teams to deliver high-quality products within an agile environment. We are looking for someone who can communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders, translating complex technical challenges into clear, actionable plans. Proficiency in English is required, as is a commitment to fostering an inclusive and collaborative workplace.
