The opportunity

We are seeking a Senior Engineering Manager to join our Trust and Transparency team. This group is essential to our mission, as they focus on maintaining the integrity of our platform by combating fake reviews and ensuring that all participants operate fairly. In this role, you will lead talented engineers, manage complex technical initiatives, and help us scale our systems. You will bridge the gap between high-level business strategy and day-to-day engineering execution, ensuring that we deliver value while maintaining a healthy, high-performing culture.

A day in the life

• You will oversee the delivery of major product initiatives, balancing ambitious goals with sustainable engineering practices and technical quality.
• You will mentor and develop a team of engineers, conducting regular one-on-one meetings to provide feedback and create clear paths for professional growth.
• You will collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to define project scopes, manage risks, and ensure that our technical decisions align with the needs of our users.

Who you are

You are a seasoned leader with a strong technical foundation and a passion for building great teams. We are looking for someone who communicates clearly in English and brings the following experience to the table:

• Several years of experience in Engineering Management, specifically in coaching and growing high-performing teams.
• A solid background in cloud services, such as AWS or Google Cloud, and experience with scalable, high-volume systems.
• Comprehensive knowledge of Agile Methodology and API technologies.
• Experience working with frontend development for both web and mobile platforms.
• A pragmatic approach to decision-making and a genuine interest in working with modern stacks like TypeScript, Node.js, React, and DynamoDB.
