Engineering Manager at Paytient

What you bring

We are looking for an experienced Engineering Manager to join us on a full-time, remote basis. You will lead a team of product-minded engineers to design and operate services that support millions of users. This role is open to candidates located anywhere in the continental U.S., excluding Montana. Your core responsibilities will include:

• Leading and mentoring a team of engineers while driving successful software delivery in partnership with Product Management.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and establish clear priorities.
• Promoting best practices in software development to ensure high-quality code and the creation of scalable platforms.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have a strong background in software development as an individual contributor and a proven track record of effective leadership. We value candidates who possess a bias for action and the ability to navigate complex technical and business trade-offs. You must be an excellent communicator who can bridge the gap between technical teams and stakeholders. Proficiency in English is required, and you should be comfortable working within modern software delivery processes and tools. We are looking for someone who is committed to continuous improvement and dedicated to the professional growth of their team members.
