Navigating parental, medical, or bereavement leave is often a stressful and fragmented process filled with government paperwork and insurance claims. We are building a platform to remove this friction, providing a simple and reliable experience for both employers and employees. We are growing quickly and are looking for an Engineering Manager to help us lead this change.

Key outcomes

• Lead and scale our customer-facing leave platform by overseeing both the technical architecture and the growth of your team.
• Set high standards for engineering quality and provide clear guidance through code reviews and system-level decision-making.
• Mentor and develop engineers through regular coaching, constructive feedback, and the establishment of clear performance expectations.
• Partner with our Product, Design, Operations, and Legal teams to translate complex compliance requirements into intuitive user experiences.
• Bring clarity to ambiguous problems by scoping work effectively and ensuring your team can execute with confidence.
• Contribute to the foundational culture of our company by helping shape our hiring, operational, and scaling strategies.

Requirements

• Proven experience managing or leading engineering teams focused on customer-facing products.
• A track record of shipping large-scale initiatives that deliver significant business impact.
• Strong technical judgment, including the ability to make thoughtful trade-offs and guide teams toward robust, scalable systems.
• Demonstrated success in hiring, retaining, and managing high-performing engineering talent.
• A commitment to fostering an inclusive work environment where candid, constructive feedback is the norm.
• The ability to balance rapid execution with the need for long-term technical stability.
• Fluency in English.

Compensation

The salary for this position is $215,000. In addition to this base pay, we provide a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
