Engineering Manager at Revel

At Revel, we are on a mission to accelerate the adoption of electric vehicles in urban environments by building the infrastructure and services that make going electric seamless. Since our founding in Brooklyn in 2018, we have evolved from a shared electric moped platform into the operator of the nation's first all-electric rideshare service and a leading provider of public fast-charging stations across New York City. We are looking for an Engineering Manager to join our team in the United States and help us continue to scale our impact.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage one to two software engineering teams focused on our consumer product experiences.
• Guide scoping and prioritization efforts by leveraging your deep understanding of business needs and stakeholder requirements.
• Facilitate critical technical decision-making across our mobile, web, and backend platforms.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional partners in product, operations, and data to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Provide proactive coaching and mentorship to help engineers grow in their careers.

Must-haves

• At least 5 years of experience building modern software applications.
• A minimum of 4 years of experience in engineering management or a comparable leadership role.
• Strong proficiency with our core tech stack, including Python, Django, PostgreSQL, Kafka, and Kubernetes.
• Experience working with mobile and web technologies such as Kotlin, Swift, React Native, React, and TypeScript.
• A highly empathetic, collaborative, and pragmatic approach to problem-solving.
• A product-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering tangible value.
• Fluency in English.

Benefits

The base salary for this position ranges from $175,000 to $225,000 per year, depending on your experience level.
