- Foster an equitable engineering culture that prioritizes transparency, inclusivity, and continuous professional growth for every team member.
Skills and experience
- Strong proficiency in object-oriented programming, with experience in Ruby on Rails or a solid foundation in server-side languages like Java or Python.
- Proven experience in hands-on management, mentoring, and inspiring established engineering teams.
- Demonstrated success in leading large-scale projects and managing multiple concurrent initiatives alongside senior engineers.
- A passion for building high-production software where quality and correctness are paramount, balanced with a nimble and productive workflow.
- Experience collaborating effectively with non-technical stakeholders, product managers, and subject matter experts.
Compensation and benefits
The base salary range for this position in New York City is $170,000 - $195,000. In addition to base pay, we offer a comprehensive package designed to support your well-being and professional growth:

- Flexible paid time off.
- Commuter benefits.
- Professional development opportunities.
