We are looking for a dedicated Engineering Manager to help us build a movement of change agents focused on delivering lasting impact through empathy and innovation.
About the Role
This is a full-time, senior-level position for an Engineering Manager who will lead, coach, and grow a talented team of software engineers. While your primary focus is on people management and process improvement, you will also provide technical guidance through architecture and code reviews. You will report to the Director of Engineering and help our team maintain a high standard of performance, reliability, and accessibility while fostering an inclusive and supportive culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Support, mentor, and develop your team members through regular 1:1 meetings and professional growth planning.
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners to define, prioritize, and execute a technical roadmap that balances feature development with system maintenance.
- Promote a culture of excellence by establishing best practices for software delivery, documentation, security, and team communication.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of experience in software engineering or engineering management, with a minimum of 1 year in a people management role.
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to write clearly and facilitate complex decision-making processes across different teams.
- Proven experience in building and leading diverse teams while fostering an environment of empathy and inclusion.
- Technical proficiency in developing complex web applications with a focus on security, privacy, and user experience.
- Demonstrated ability to lead by influence, mentor others, and balance the trade-offs between speed, cost, and quality.
Location
This position is fully remote, allowing you to work from anywhere within the United States.
Compensation and Benefits
