The role
We are hiring multiple Engineering Managers on a full-time, remote basis. This senior-level position calls for experienced leaders who enjoy guiding high-performing engineering teams in a fast-moving, agile environment.
Core responsibilities
- Recruit, develop, and retain engineers who consistently deliver outsized results for our customers.
- Guide the creation and delivery of key product features while collaborating directly with product stakeholders.
- Shape and refine development processes as the team scales, ensuring alignment with senior leadership on technical direction.
Skills and experience
We look for candidates who bring at least two years of software engineering management experience within an agile process and five or more years of hands-on commercial development in Java. A bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or an equivalent field is required. You should demonstrate proven success in hiring, mentoring, and coaching teams, along with deep expertise in object-oriented design and implementation. Experience building application development tools, APIs, or enterprise application platform software is essential, as are strong communication skills and the ability to thrive when requirements evolve quickly.
Compensation and benefits
Base pay for this role ranges from $120,000 to $300,000. In addition, we offer medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, company-paid holidays, retirement programs, and a one-percent charitable giving program.
