We are now seeking a senior-level Engineering Manager to join our team in a full-time capacity.
Key outcomes
- Translate complex functional requirements into elegant, simple designs and deliver high-quality code.
- Deeply understand our product and customer needs to propose innovative, value-driven solutions.
- Provide dedicated coaching to up to six direct reports through regular bi-weekly meetings.
- Define clear expectations, gather and deliver constructive feedback, and build comprehensive career development plans using our existing skill leveling matrix.
- Collaborate with fellow managers on performance-related decisions, including salary calibrations and remediation for underperformance.
- Optionally lead internal initiatives to structure our engineering culture, such as organizing technical demonstrations or refining our skill development frameworks.
Requirements
- At least 7 to 8 years of professional experience as a software engineer working on production-grade products.
- A minimum of 2 to 3 years of direct people management experience.
- Proven expertise in designing object-oriented software using languages such as C#, Java, C++, Golang, Rust, Python, or Ruby.
- A strong team-oriented mindset paired with a proactive, problem-solving approach.
- A humble attitude and a genuine commitment to continuous personal and professional growth.
- Fluency in English.
