What is this role?
We are looking for a Senior Engineering Manager to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a remote position available to candidates located anywhere. You will serve as a key leader, guiding our engineering teams through complex product development cycles while maintaining a culture of innovation and high performance.
What will you do?
- You will oversee the daily operations of our delivery teams, ensuring that we meet our project timelines while maintaining high standards of quality.
- You will manage team dynamics and resource allocation, acting as a mentor who removes roadblocks and fosters an inclusive environment for all engineers.
- You will collaborate with global stakeholders to manage feature execution and product roadmaps, reporting on team productivity and overall output.

To be successful in this role, you should bring a strong technical foundation and a proven ability to lead through change. We are looking for the following qualifications:
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in software development, with at least 2 years in a leadership role managing both development and quality engineers.
- Deep proficiency in Java, microservices, and cloud technologies, along with a solid understanding of DevOps and Docker.
- Expertise in Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban, and experience delivering SaaS or PaaS products.
- A take-charge attitude with excellent program management skills and the ability to work independently.
- A degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred, and holding an AWS Certified Developer certification is a significant plus.
