About the Role
We are searching for an Engineering Manager to join us on a full-time basis. In this role, you will lead a dynamic team focused on building high-quality web and mobile financial solutions. You will work alongside product managers, designers, and engineers to shape the future of our platform and drive our expansion throughout Europe.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning and execution of product initiatives by aligning project goals with our broader business objectives.
- Manage the full project lifecycle, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk mitigation, to ensure successful and timely delivery.
- Foster a productive team environment by mentoring engineers, improving core development processes, and removing operational blockers.
Requirements
To be successful in this position, you should possess the following qualifications:
- At least 1 year of experience in software engineering management.
- A minimum of 4 years of hands-on software development experience using languages such as Python, Kotlin, Java, or Go.
- Proven expertise in managing projects through the entire software development lifecycle.
- Strong familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies within fast-paced development environments.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a customer-focused mindset.
- Proficiency in English at a B2 level or higher.
Location
This position is hybrid. We value flexibility and embrace remote work, but we also believe in the power of face-to-face collaboration. To stay connected, we meet at our Prague office at least twice a month, so you must be within commuting distance.
