What you bring

As a Lead Engineering Manager, you will play a pivotal role in our Bengaluru office, where this full-time position is based. You will be responsible for guiding our engineering organization as we transition the ownership of our Apply product from North America to India. You will work in a hybrid capacity, collaborating with our teams to ensure our systems remain high-performing, secure, and stable. Your core responsibilities will include:

• Building and leading a diverse team of software, cloud, and DevOps engineers while providing mentorship to support their career growth.
• Managing the end-to-end transition of the Apply product, ensuring seamless operations and maintenance of our existing infrastructure.
• Partnering with product and design teams to execute our technology roadmap while maintaining high standards for performance and compliance.

Requirements

We are looking for a seasoned professional with over 12 years of hands-on experience in architecting and maintaining internet-scale SaaS products. You should have at least 4 years of management experience, specifically in hiring and retaining high-performing technical teams. Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, React, and Node.js is essential for this role. You should also possess deep expertise in cloud environments, particularly AWS, Kubernetes, and modern DevOps pipelines. We value candidates who demonstrate strong ownership, excellent communication skills in English, and a proven ability to manage complex product operations and incident responses.
