What you bring

We are seeking a Senior Engineering Manager for a full-time, hybrid role based in France. In this position, you will balance your time between hands-on software engineering and dedicated people management. You will play a vital role in our technical and organizational success by focusing on the following responsibilities:

• Designing elegant, scalable software solutions that translate functional requirements into real value for our end users.
• Coaching and mentoring up to 6 direct reports through regular check-ins, career development planning, and performance feedback.
• Collaborating with other managers to calibrate performance decisions and contribute to the structural evolution of our engineering culture.

Requirements

To thrive in this role, you should possess a strong background in software engineering with at least 7 to 8 years of experience working on production-grade products. We look for candidates who have 2 to 3 years of direct people management experience and a deep understanding of Object Oriented Design. You should be comfortable working with languages such as C#, Java, C++, Golang, Rust, Python, or Ruby. We value individuals who demonstrate a humble, problem-solving mindset and a genuine desire to grow. Proficiency in English is required, and you must be capable of working effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
