About the Role
We are seeking an Engineering Manager to join our team on a full-time basis. In this role, you will work closely with our senior engineering leadership within the Product Engineering group. You will be responsible for mentoring and growing some of the brightest engineering talent in the industry while driving technical strategy. This position is perfect for a versatile leader who thrives on solving complex problems and wants to make a tangible difference in the quality and development of our platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Recruit and hire talented engineers to build out new and existing squads, while providing ongoing oversight for your team members.
- Coach, mentor, and onboard new hires to ensure their career development, job satisfaction, and overall productivity.
- Identify future technical requirements and create actionable plans to meet them, ensuring our systems scale effectively as we grow.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in a team leadership capacity.
- A minimum of 5 years of development experience using languages such as TypeScript, Python, Go, or Ruby on Rails.
- Deep proficiency in SaaS and web application development.
- Proven experience planning and leading large-scale development projects.
- Strong familiarity with Agile/Scrum ceremonies and working within balanced product and engineering teams.
- Experience with MVC frameworks and service-oriented architectures.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly.
- Availability to participate in an on-call rotation for business-critical alerts.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States, as we do not offer immigration sponsorship.
Location
This position is remote and can be performed from anywhere within the United States, excluding Alaska, Alabama, Delaware, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, Iowa, West Virginia, and Rhode Island.
Compensation and Benefits
We offer a competitive base salary range based on your geographic location:
- Tier 1: $184,320 to $276,480 USD
- Tier 2: $168,960 to $253,440 USD
- Tier 3: $153,600 to $230,400 USD
Beyond base pay, we provide a comprehensive total rewards package. This includes eligibility for our Quarterly Corporate Bonus program, equity awards, and the flexibility of remote work.
