Role at a glance

We are looking for a Lead Engineering Manager to join our team on a full-time, remote basis. This is a senior-level position where you will guide a global team of talented engineers, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and high-quality software delivery. You will report directly to the Director of Engineering and play a key role in shaping our technical and operational future.

• Drive organizational excellence by refining team structures, establishing effective on-call rotations, and creating clear career development pathways for your engineers.
• Champion security and quality by implementing best practices and software engineering standards, while ensuring clear communication with both technical teams and executive leadership.
• Mentor and lead your team to deliver impactful features, balancing speed and scope while maintaining a focus on long-term system robustness.

What you'll need

• At least 2 years of leadership experience managing and mentoring technical teams.
• Deep proficiency in distributed systems and a strong grasp of software architecture trade-offs.
• Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to explain complex security concepts to diverse stakeholders.
• Hands-on experience with Git, automated CI/CD pipelines, and observability tools like Splunk or Datadog.
• A passion for cryptocurrency and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, asynchronous remote environment.
• Strong project management skills, including the ability to negotiate deliverables and manage complex initiatives with minimal supervision.
