Role at a glance

We are looking for a Senior Engineering Manager to join our team on a full-time, hybrid basis in France. This is a leadership role where you will guide a squad while maintaining a hands-on approach to our technical stack. We value candidates who are passionate about Software Craftsmanship and want to contribute to a mission-driven product that changes lives.

Your impact

• Act as a hands-on leader who contributes to feature development, solves complex technical problems, and challenges your squad to maintain high standards.
• Take ownership of your squad's technical quality, monitoring, and delivery efficiency while collaborating with your Product Manager to define KPIs and strategic vision.
• Serve as a mentor and coach, fostering the professional growth of your team members through regular feedback and support.

What you'll need

To be successful in this role, you should possess a strong technical background and a passion for people management. We require fluency in French and the following qualifications:

• A degree equivalent to BAC+5 with at least 6 years of experience in web development.
• Previous experience in a management or leadership capacity is highly preferred.
• Strong proficiency with our core stack, including NestJS, React, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, and Elasticsearch.
• Experience with Gitlab, Kubernetes, and Jest, along with a deep understanding of CI/CD principles in cloud environments.
• A user-centric mindset and the ability to navigate complex human dynamics with emotional intelligence.
