Requirements
- Proven experience managing an engineering team of at least four people through multiple performance cycles.
- Demonstrated success in achieving staff-level ownership and impact within an organization.
- Experience building and maintaining complex, evolving systems, ideally within a regulated industry.
- Resilience when navigating ambiguous challenges and the ability to create structure for collaborative work.
- Strong proficiency in debugging complex distributed systems and managing critical incidents.
- Experience defining and executing technical strategy across multiple teams.
- Technical proficiency in Python or Go, with additional experience in Django, React, or TypeScript considered a plus.
- Professional fluency in English.
Compensation
We offer a comprehensive benefits package for full-time employees, including company-sponsored medical, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance starting on your first day. We also provide 16 weeks of fully paid parental leave.
The annual salary for this role is determined by your experience, qualifications, and location:
- For candidates in San Francisco, New York City, Los Angeles, and Seattle, the salary range is $218,900 to $234,200.
- For candidates in all other locations, the salary range is $186,065 to $199,100.
