Role at a glance
We are seeking an Engineering Manager to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a management-level position that offers a hybrid work environment, allowing you to contribute from anywhere.
Your impact
- Direct the daily operations of a software engineering team while planning and executing new development projects.
- Collaborate with Senior and Staff Engineers to design robust system architectures and ensure high-quality software releases.
- Foster a healthy team culture and manage performance through regular 1:1 meetings, reviews, and professional development planning.
What you'll need
- At least 5 years of software engineering experience, including 2 or more years in a people management role.
- A degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Proven experience leading scrum ceremonies, conducting code reviews, and managing the full software release lifecycle.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to advocate for coding standards and technical excellence.
- Familiarity with AWS, Ruby on Rails, and React is considered a significant advantage.
Perks and compensation
For candidates based in the SF Bay Area, NYC, or Seattle metro areas, the salary range is $168,000.00 - $210,000.00. For all other locations, the range is $147,000.00 - $184,000.00.
