Vestiaire Collective is the world’s leading online marketplace for pre-loved fashion, dedicated to transforming the industry through a commitment to sustainability and circularity. Since our founding in 2009, we have grown into a global BCorp with a diverse team of 700 employees across multiple international offices, and we are now seeking an Engineering Manager to join our operations collective team in Ho Chi Minh City.
Responsibilities
- Lead an agile team to deliver high-quality solutions for our marketing and merchandising departments, focusing on operational efficiency and maintainability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners, including design, CRM, and content teams, to architect and implement broader technical solutions.
- Manage and mentor your engineering team by setting clear goals, measuring performance, and providing the coaching necessary for professional growth.
- Partner with product owners to evaluate technical feasibility, estimate project impact, and define functional requirements for complex problems.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement within your squad to ensure consistent value delivery in an agile environment.
Must-haves
- At least 5 years of experience in full-stack, backend, or frontend engineering, with a minimum of 2 years in a hands-on technical management or team lead role.
- Proven ability in system design and a track record of building scalable features to solve complex technical challenges.
- Experience in hiring, mentoring, and retaining senior engineers to build high-performance teams.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to create alignment across multiple teams and navigate ambiguous situations.
- Proficiency in our core technology stack, which includes PHP, Golang, Java, TypeScript, Node.js, React, Symfony, Spring, MySQL, MariaDB, and MongoDB.
- Fluency in English.
