At Partoo, our 80-person tech team is organized into four tribes and ten impact teams, all working together to simplify how businesses manage their online presence. We are looking for an Engineering Manager to lead one of our tribes, helping us build efficient internal tools and scalable product features while fostering a culture of technical excellence and professional growth.
Responsibilities
- Manage and mentor the developers within your tribe, overseeing their well-being, career progression, and day-to-day performance.
- Drive the long-term vision and roadmap for your tribe in close partnership with your Lead Product Manager.
- Provide hands-on technical guidance, using your expertise in Python and React to inspire your team and support Lead Developers in making sound architectural choices.
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration by connecting with other departments to anticipate dependencies and ensure our technical strategies align with broader business goals.
- Oversee recruitment and team-building efforts to ensure our impact teams remain autonomous and high-performing.
- Maintain technical standards by working alongside our Core team to ensure our systems remain robust, clean, and scalable.
Must-haves
- At least 8 years of experience in full-stack web development, with strong proficiency in Python and React.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a management role, such as Engineering Manager, VP of Engineering, or CTO.
- Proven background in designing scalable and distributed systems.
- Excellent communication skills and a genuine passion for building empathetic, human-centered teams.
- Fluency in both French and English.
