The role

We are looking for an experienced Engineering Manager to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a hybrid position based in Germany. In this role, you will serve as a vital link between our business strategy, product vision, and engineering execution. You will act as a force multiplier, empowering your team to deliver high-quality results while ensuring our technical standards remain at the forefront of the industry.

Core responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a high-performing engineering team, fostering a culture of psychological safety, professional growth, and clear career development.
• Coordinate project execution by prioritizing tasks, managing resources, and shielding the team from external distractions to ensure timely delivery.
• Collaborate closely with product and design stakeholders to align technical output with our broader company goals and strategy.

Skills and experience

To be successful in this role, you should possess a strong background in software engineering and proven leadership experience. We are looking for candidates who demonstrate the following:

• A degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience as an IT specialist.
• Significant experience in software engineering combined with a track record of leading teams as a Tech Lead or Engineering Manager.
• Technical proficiency with Angular, Spring Boot, and Amazon Web Services.
• Practical experience working within Scrum or other agile methodologies.
• The ability to work autonomously in a result-oriented environment, supported by excellent communication skills in English.
