About the Role

We are looking for an Engineering Manager to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a unique opportunity to lead and shape greenfield projects from the ground up, specifically focusing on pioneering products that leverage Large Language Models and cutting-edge AI technologies. While your primary focus will be on people and process management, we expect you to remain technically grounded. You will be expected to work hands-on with our codebase, which includes Ruby on Rails, React, PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, and Redis, to provide technical guidance and troubleshoot complex challenges.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide strong leadership and mentorship to our engineering team to ensure high levels of technical productivity and code quality.
• Manage the full lifecycle of our engineering talent, from recruiting top-tier developers to fostering career growth through stretch projects and consistent feedback.
• Collaborate directly with our co-founders to plan engineering sprints and contribute to high-level initiatives across the entire engineering organization.

Requirements

We are seeking a candidate with significant managerial experience who understands the complexities of building scalable software. You should be comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment where you can provide both strategic leadership and hands-on technical support. While we do not require prior experience in our specific tech stack, you must demonstrate the ability to dive into the code to solve difficult problems. Proficiency in English is required to effectively communicate within our global team.

This position is remote and is available to candidates located in EMEA, LATAM, or North America.
