The role

We are seeking a proven Engineering Manager to join us on a full-time, hybrid basis. In this leadership position, you will guide a highly experienced team of engineers and architects to deliver new banking services while enhancing our existing infrastructure. We need a leader who balances exceptional technical prowess with a passion for people development. You will work closely with product managers and cross-functional stakeholders to define our roadmap and ensure we are delivering high-quality, scalable solutions that meet the needs of our enterprise customers.

Core responsibilities

• Lead and scale a growing engineering team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and operational efficiency.
• Partner with product and business leadership to set the roadmap and drive the successful delivery of complex software solutions.
• Apply your technical expertise and business instincts to innovate, ensuring our systems remain performant, reliable, and aligned with customer requirements.

Skills and experience

• At least 8 years of experience in software engineering, specifically in designing and building large-scale distributed systems.
• Minimum of 2 years in an engineering management role with a track record of hiring, mentoring, and leading high-performing teams.
• Proven ability to define a clear technical vision and communicate it effectively across the organization.
• Experience making business-level tradeoffs and balancing customer needs with technical constraints.
• Strong analytical skills with a focus on defining and tracking success metrics to drive continuous improvement.
• Prior experience in the fintech or banking sector is considered a significant advantage.

Compensation and benefits
