Role at a glance
We are seeking an Engineering Manager to join our team on a full-time, remote basis. This is a leadership position requiring at least four years of management experience. You will be instrumental in guiding our product engineering efforts from anywhere in the world, ensuring our platforms remain effective and scalable as we continue to grow.
Your impact
- Lead, mentor, and grow a team of product engineers by providing regular feedback, defining clear development paths, and fostering a culture of psychological safety and high performance.
- Collaborate directly with product, design, and operations teams to translate business needs into technical roadmaps, ensuring we build the right solutions for our students.
- Maintain a hands-on presence by spending roughly 20 percent of your time in the codebase, conducting code reviews, and leading architecture design for our learning and career matching systems.
What you'll need
- At least 2 years of direct experience managing software engineering teams.
- A minimum of 6 years of experience in full-stack software development.
- A strong builder mentality with a desire to stay involved in technical architecture and code quality.
- Proven ability to partner with product and design stakeholders throughout the full project lifecycle.
- Fluency in English to communicate effectively across our distributed team.
Perks and compensation
The base salary for this position ranges from $172,000 to $233,000, depending on your specific skills, experience, and qualifications. In addition to your base salary, you will receive an equity package and the following benefits:
