Since our founding in 2012, we have focused on helping everyone find their place in the world, and we are currently seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to join our Technical Infrastructure team in the United States.
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of engineers to develop and maintain robust cloud infrastructure systems.
- Support the career development of your direct reports while fostering a culture of high-quality engineering.
- Partner with senior leadership to translate our vision into actionable, quarterly roadmaps.
- Guide the architectural design process and ensure the delivery of high-performance, scalable distributed systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain operational excellence for our Tier 1 services.
- Drive recruitment efforts to attract and retain top-tier engineering talent who align with our company culture.
Must-haves
- At least 10 years of experience in infrastructure software development, including a minimum of 3 years in a management role.
- Proven success in leading software engineering teams through the full development lifecycle.
- Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, forecasts, and vendor relationships.
- Experience working within hyper-growth environments, specifically scaling both organizational structures and technology stacks.
- Strong proficiency with modern tools and technologies, including AWS, RDS, Elasticsearch, Elasticache, Redis, Kafka, Java, Python, Go, Docker, Kubernetes, Networking, and CI/CD.
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and creative problem-solving skills.
Benefits
The base salary for this position ranges from $143,000 to $216,000 annually, with final offers determined by individual skills and experience. We also provide a comprehensive package including:
