The opportunity

We are looking for an Engineering Manager to lead our talented technical team and shape the future of our SaaS platform. You will report to the Senior Director of Product, Tech and Data, acting as a bridge between high-level strategy and day-to-day execution. This role is perfect for a leader who is passionate about building scalable software and fostering a culture of continuous learning. You will set our technical vision, guide our development approach, and ensure that our engineering efforts align perfectly with our product roadmap and sustainability goals.

A day in the life

• You will mentor and grow a diverse, distributed team of engineers, fostering an environment where everyone can do their best work while identifying opportunities for professional development and recruitment.
• You will drive technical excellence by overseeing the architecture of our platform, managing technical debt, and ensuring our codebase remains high-quality, secure, and performant as we scale.
• You will collaborate closely with product, design, and sustainability teams to prioritize features and ensure our software delivers an intuitive, seamless experience for our enterprise customers.

Who you are

You are a seasoned leader with a passion for building impactful technology. You bring a strong background in software development and a proven ability to manage high-performing teams. Your profile includes:

• At least 10 years of experience in software development, with a minimum of 3 years spent managing distributed engineering teams.
• Hands-on technical proficiency with JavaScript, React, Python, and AWS cloud services.
• Deep experience with Agile methodologies and building enterprise-grade SaaS platforms.
• A track record of working in startup environments where you have navigated ambiguity with a proactive, growth-oriented mindset.
• Excellent communication skills in English, allowing you to engage effectively with stakeholders across different functions.
• A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
