• Perform regular code reviews to ensure our software meets high standards for quality, maintainability, and best practices.

• Set clear performance expectations, conduct evaluations, and provide consistent coaching and mentorship to support the professional growth of your team members.

• Partner closely with product, engineering, and leadership teams to ensure the successful and timely delivery of projects.

Requirements

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• At least 7 years of experience in backend development, specifically with PHP or Java.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience managing remote, international backend engineering teams.
• Deep knowledge of SaaS technologies, design patterns, and industry best practices.
• Strong project management, organizational, and time management skills.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and presentation abilities in English.
• A proven track record of using mentorship and coaching to elevate team performance.

Preferred qualifications

• Proficiency in Python, React, MySQL, or Terraform.
• Experience supporting or programming applications within Amazon Web Services.
• Background in working with micro-service, service-oriented, or serverless architectures.
