What you bring
We are seeking a Full Time Engineering Manager to join our team in a Remote capacity. You will lead our Tools pod, where you will oversee a talented group of engineers and drive the development of systems that support our internal operations and external partners. Your work will directly impact how restaurants, chefs, and fulfillment centers manage their businesses and serve our customers. Your primary responsibilities include:
- Leading and executing complex technical projects while making key architectural decisions.
- Mentoring and managing a team of 6 to 8 engineers to foster a culture of growth and accountability.
- Collaborating with various business units to ensure our technical solutions align with organizational goals and industry trends.
Requirements
The ideal candidate is a proactive leader with a strong background in software development and team management. You should be comfortable working with our core technology stack, which includes Ruby on Rails, React, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, and Kafka. We value individuals who possess excellent communication skills and the ability to think strategically about business dynamics. A proven track record in engineering management, particularly within an e-commerce environment, is highly desirable. You must be fluent in English to effectively collaborate across our cross-functional teams.
What we offer
We provide a competitive base salary ranging from $195,000 to $230,000, depending on your experience and interview performance. In addition to your salary, we offer the following benefits to support your work and future:
