About the Role
We are looking for an Engineering Manager to join us on a Full Time basis. In this position you will guide a talented group of developers and QA engineers who are responsible for our flagship Smart Wallet solution, ensuring the platform remains reliable, scalable and delightful for the marketplaces we serve.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor engineers through regular one-to-ones, skills development and clear goal-setting so the team continues to grow and deliver at a high standard.
- Recruit and shape a high-performing group of Developers and QA Engineers that matches the pace and ambition of our expanding organisation.
- Coordinate delivery plans and priorities with fellow engineering managers and product stakeholders, while refining our working methods and acceptance criteria to keep projects on track.
Requirements
- At least three years of experience leading engineering teams in a technology-driven environment.
- Hands-on familiarity with .NET 6 and a solid understanding of modern software craftsmanship practices such as test-driven development and peer programming.
- Strong organisational skills, a collaborative mindset suited to agile settings, and genuine curiosity about emerging technologies.
- Experience with RabbitMQ, PostgreSQL or MSSQL, Git (via GitLab), TeamCity and Octopus Deploy is advantageous, as is previous work in the payments domain.
- Fluency in English and the ability to thrive while working remotely across different European time zones.
Location
This role is fully remote and open to candidates based in Poland, France, the United Kingdom, Germany, Spain, Ireland or Luxembourg.
