What you'll be doing
- You will lead and mentor a team of five software engineers, fostering a culture of trust and collaboration while providing regular guidance and professional development.
- You will oversee the full software development lifecycle, ensuring that our team delivers high-quality code through active participation in code reviews and hands-on development.
- You will partner with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to translate business needs into technical requirements, managing project timelines and ensuring our engineering efforts align with company goals.
What you'll bring
- You have at least 7 years of professional experience in software engineering, including a strong background in leading teams and navigating system-level design.
- You possess deep technical expertise in modern web development, with specific proficiency in Python, Django, JavaScript, and React.
- You are comfortable working within an Agile environment and have a proven track record of driving process improvements while balancing speed and quality.
- You communicate effectively in English and have the ability to lead with empathy, humility, and a service-oriented mindset.
- You are comfortable working in a remote capacity and are capable of driving change across a distributed team.
