We are currently searching for an Engineering Manager to join our team in Denmark, where you will help us continue our work at the forefront of an industry that is rapidly transforming how people approach their well-being.
The opportunity
As an Engineering Manager, you will be a vital leader within our product organization. You will oversee a team of eight to ten software engineers, acting as a mentor and coach to help them grow in their careers. You will sit on our Product Management Leadership Team, ensuring that our technical output aligns perfectly with our business goals. This role is designed for someone who wants to shape our engineering culture, improve our development processes, and ensure that we are delivering high-quality, scalable software that makes a real impact on our users.
A day in the life
- You will guide your team through the full development lifecycle, from initial planning and requirements gathering to the final release of new features.
- You will focus on the personal and professional growth of your direct reports, conducting regular coaching sessions and managing the hiring process to build a strong, diverse team.
- You will proactively identify bottlenecks in our workflows and lead strategic projects to refine our development practices and improve overall efficiency.
Who you are
You are a pragmatic problem solver who maintains an optimistic outlook even when facing complex technical challenges. You have a passion for building great teams and fostering an environment where engineers can thrive. To be successful in this role, you should have:
- At least 4 years of hands-on experience in software development.
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in a management or leadership capacity.
- Professional proficiency in English.
- A collaborative mindset and a willingness to embrace change as we continue to evolve our ways of working.
