About the Role

We are seeking an Engineering Manager to join us on a full-time basis. In this role, you will lead our Enablement team, which is responsible for building automated, self-service solutions for our internal stakeholders, including Brokers, BizOps, Underwriting, and Customer Experience. You will also manage the source of truth for our policy data to ensure it remains accurate and accessible across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Define the daily and long-term strategic direction for your team while managing project logistics and resource allocation.
• Evaluate technical architecture to improve system stability, scalability, and extensibility, ensuring that solutions have a positive impact across the entire platform.
• Mentor junior team members, uphold high engineering standards, and actively participate in the recruitment and training of new staff.

Requirements

To be successful in this position, you should possess the following qualifications:

• At least 9 years of overall professional experience, including a minimum of 2 years in a people management role.
• Deep expertise in designing and scaling distributed systems, microservices, and event-driven architectures.
• Strong proficiency in backend technologies such as Python, Java, or Golang.
• Experience working with cloud platforms like AWS or GCP, as well as container orchestration tools like Kubernetes and Docker.
• Excellent communication skills and a proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders.

This position is based in India and follows a hybrid work model.
