We are currently modernizing our data warehouse and implementing an event-based architecture to support our growth, and we want you to be at the forefront of this mission.
What you bring
As a Software Engineering Manager in our Data Engineering group, you will lead teams in solving complex data challenges while fostering a culture of high performance. This is a full-time, remote role available to candidates located anywhere. Your primary responsibilities will include the following:
- Managing, mentoring, and growing a diverse team of engineers while overseeing their professional development.
- Designing and developing robust data infrastructure that supports critical business areas like product development, finance, and executive strategy.
- Collaborating with product engineering and other stakeholders to ensure our data systems drive meaningful results and maintain high quality standards.
Requirements
We are looking for a technically savvy leader with 1 to 3 years of experience managing software teams within AWS, GCP, or Azure environments. You should have a proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and a strong background in Agile Scrum methodologies. We value candidates who possess excellent communication skills in English and can bridge the gap between technical and non-technical stakeholders. A successful candidate will demonstrate a deep understanding of software engineering principles, a commitment to reliability, and a passion for building high-performing, geographically diverse teams. Experience with tools like SQL, Snowflake, Dremio, Apache Kafka, and Data Governance practices will be considered a significant advantage.
