The role

We are looking for an Engineering Manager to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a leadership position based in Australia, operating in a hybrid work environment. You will play a pivotal role in driving our SaaS-based business management platform, specifically focusing on CRM, billing, and ERP processes. If you are an experienced technical leader who enjoys coaching teams and shaping long-term architectural visions, you will find a home here.

Core responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of technical modernization objectives, including the migration to target state architectures for our CRM and ERP solutions.
• Empower and guide your team to define and refine a clear technical vision while ensuring the efficient delivery of high-quality customer experiences.
• Coach and mentor engineers to foster their growth, while using operational metrics to drive continuous improvement across our development and deployment processes.

Skills and experience

To succeed in this role, you should be comfortable working across the full stack and possess a strong technical background. We value candidates who bring the following:

• Proficiency in both back-end and front-end frameworks, with the ability to design and deploy software solutions using APIs, serverless architectures, and microservices.
• Hands-on experience with cloud-native solutions and modern engineering practices like DevSecOps and continuous delivery.
• Strong leadership capabilities, including the ability to mentor team members and communicate complex technical strategies to a variety of stakeholders.
• A pragmatic approach to balancing short-term delivery goals with long-term strategic objectives.
• Fluency in English.
