Engineering Manager at Property Finder

With over 600 dedicated team members operating in five regional offices, we are a true powerhouse in the proptech industry. We are currently looking for an experienced Engineering Manager to join our team in the United Arab Emirates to help us continue our mission of inspiring people to find the home they deserve.

What you'll be doing

• Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing team of software engineers while managing hiring and career development.
• Collaborate with product managers to define project scopes, set ambitious goals, and ensure the delivery of high-quality, scalable software.
• Promote excellence in engineering by championing best practices in coding, testing, and CI/CD workflows while managing team resources and budgets.

What you'll bring

To be successful in this role, you should have a strong background in software development and a passion for leading teams. We are looking for the following qualifications:

• At least 8 years of experience in software development, with a minimum of 3 years in a leadership or management capacity.
• Deep technical proficiency in web development, API integrations, and cloud infrastructure, specifically within AWS.
• Experience working with our core stack, which includes Golang, JavaScript, TypeScript, React, React Native, Node.js, and Next.js.
• Familiarity with data tools and databases such as Aurora and Redis.
• Excellent communication skills in English, allowing you to partner effectively across different functions and advocate for engineering needs.
• A data-informed mindset and a preference for user-centric decision-making.
