The role
We are looking for a mid-level Engineering Manager to join our technology department in a full-time capacity. Based in our Madrid office, this is a hybrid position requiring four days on-site and one day working from home. You will lead a cross-functional team focused on Client Evolution development, working closely with product stakeholders to integrate AI solutions that drive tangible business value and operational efficiency.
Core responsibilities
- Collaborate with product teams to identify business challenges and implement AI-driven solutions that improve our service offerings.
- Oversee the performance and professional growth of your team members through regular coaching, clear feedback, and structured career development.
- Define and implement engineering best practices, including robust monitoring, incident management, and the design of scalable infrastructure using modern automation tools.
Skills and experience
To succeed in this role, you should bring a blend of technical expertise and leadership capability:
- At least 2 years of experience in a management or leadership role.
- A degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong technical proficiency in Linux systems, cloud infrastructure, networking, and database management.
- Hands-on experience with Python, BASH, Ansible, and Terraform.
- A solid understanding of object-oriented and functional design principles.
- Excellent communication skills in English, as you will be collaborating with international colleagues across our global offices.
