What you bring

As our new Engineering Manager, you will take full ownership of key projects, overseeing everything from the initial vision and planning to the professional development of our engineering staff. This full-time role is based in Bellevue, WA, and follows a hybrid schedule requiring three days in the office and two days of remote work. You will be responsible for the following:

• Managing the priorities, tasks, and technical objectives for a team of developers while ensuring project timelines and budgets are met.
• Coaching and mentoring junior engineers through regular one-on-one meetings and consistent feedback to foster a high-performance culture.
• Implementing technical strategies and refining our software development processes to improve overall delivery and operational efficiency.

Requirements

We are looking for a candidate who possesses a strong foundation in Object-Oriented Programming with at least four years of hands-on experience. You should have deep expertise in the Software Development Life Cycle and a proven ability to analyze complex data to influence technical outcomes. We value candidates who demonstrate excellent negotiation and communication skills, as you will be collaborating across departments to set our product roadmap. While not strictly required, we highly prioritize applicants who have a background in machine learning, big data, and previous experience leading technical teams, ideally supported by a B.S. degree in a technical field.

What we offer
