Engineering Manager at Gojob

We are looking for a Senior Engineering Manager to join our team in France on a full-time, hybrid basis to help us scale our mission-driven technology.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a hands-on approach by implementing features, solving complex technical problems, and challenging your squad members.
• Take ownership of code quality, system monitoring, and the continuous improvement of your team's delivery processes.
• Partner with your Product Manager to lead the squad on strategic and organizational initiatives, including defining success KPIs.
• Act as a servant leader by providing regular feedback and coaching to help each member of your team grow professionally.
• Represent your squad in cross-team interactions and participate in high-level technical strategy sessions to shape the future of our platform.

Must-haves

• At least 6 years of experience in web development, with an educational background equivalent to a Master's degree.
• Strong proficiency in our core stack, including NestJS, React, and TypeScript.
• Familiarity with modern development tools and environments, such as Jest, Gitlab, Kubernetes, PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, MongoDB, and Redis.
• Proven experience working within short delivery cycles and a solid understanding of CI/CD principles in cloud environments.
• Excellent interpersonal and emotional intelligence skills, with a passion for supporting others through challenges and managing complex stakeholder relationships.
• Fluency in French.
