About the Role

We are looking for an Engineering Manager to join our team on a Full Time basis. In this position you will lead a backend engineering competency, guiding the team through the design, development, and deployment of client and product projects while fostering technical excellence and professional growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and day-to-day management for the backend team, ensuring value-driven design, development, and deployment of projects.
• Lead recruitment efforts and support the long-term growth of the team by attracting high-caliber engineers.
• Guide career development through objective setting, performance reviews, and identification of training needs while managing resource allocation and forecasting.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer, Software, or IT Engineering, or a related discipline.
• At least ten years of software development experience, including a minimum of two years in line management of development teams.
• Strong, hands-on knowledge of C#, .NET Framework, .NET Core, ASP.NET (Core), MVC, Web API, Entity Framework (Core), and SQL Server.
• Experience designing and implementing complex distributed systems, microservices architectures, and cloud services (Azure or AWS).
• Proficiency with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes, along with a solid understanding of CI/CD practices and tools.
• Familiarity with NoSQL databases, application scalability, and distributed data platforms.
• Proven experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and following the full software development life cycle on custom, end-user projects.
• Comfort working in a matrix management structure and collaborating with business analysts, front-end developers, QA, and project managers.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills, with fluency in English.

Location

This role is based in Turkey and follows a hybrid work arrangement.
