What you'll be doing
- You will lead and empower a talented technical team to execute ambitious engineering projects across our platform and web portals.
- You will partner with product and program managers to define delivery roadmaps, set clear expectations, and ensure your team remains accountable for high-quality outcomes.
- You will drive continuous process improvements to boost overall output while maintaining software excellence and keeping team morale high.
What you'll bring
To be successful in this role, you should possess a strong background in software engineering and team leadership. We are looking for the following qualifications:
- A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
- Over 10 years of experience in commercial software engineering, including at least 5 years of management experience.
- At least 4 years of hands-on experience with cloud computing, specifically AWS.
- Proficiency in Java or Golang, with additional experience in modern frontend frameworks like React or Angular being a significant advantage.
- Experience working within regulated industries, such as medical devices, aerospace, or defense.
- Familiarity with healthcare-specific protocols and data formats, including HL7 and DICOM.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with a global, cross-functional team across different time zones.
