We are currently looking for a Senior Engineering Manager to join our team in a full-time, fully remote capacity. Our company focuses on transforming health tech through advanced analytics, and we are dedicated to building tools that improve patient record insights and hospital billing systems. In this role, you will lead a talented group of senior full-stack engineers, helping us refine our analytics platform while prioritizing performance, security, and scalability.
Responsibilities
- Enhance our analytics engine by utilizing proprietary tools and statistical methods to pull deeper insights from patient data.
- Optimize our data pipelines by streamlining calculations and improving how we transmit and store information.
- Refactor our existing architecture to ensure it remains cost-effective, maintainable, and easy to test.
Requirements
- Between 7 and 10 years of experience in full-stack development, specifically with backend and cloud-based systems.
- At least 3 years of experience in a management or technical leadership role, mentoring teams of 3 or more engineers.
- Strong proficiency in Python and Node.js, particularly for AWS Lambda functions.
- Hands-on experience with React and a deep understanding of AWS services like DynamoDB, Amplify, and Step Functions.
- Technical expertise in ETL/ELT workflows using tools such as Airflow and dbt.
- Familiarity with database management, including Postgres, DynamoDB, and Snowflake.
- A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to thrive independently in a remote environment.
- Prior experience in the health tech sector is considered a significant advantage.
