Role at a glance

We are seeking a Senior Engineering Manager to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a hybrid role based in France, where you will lead a squad and drive technical excellence within our collaborative, agile environment. We value candidates who are ready to blend hands-on development with strategic team leadership.

Your impact

• Act as a hands-on leader who contributes to feature implementation while challenging and mentoring squad members to ensure high-quality code.
• Take ownership of your squad's delivery, monitoring, and overall efficiency by defining clear KPIs and building a strategic vision alongside your Product Manager.
• Serve as a servant leader who fosters individual growth through regular feedback and represents your team during cross-functional interactions.

What you'll need

To be successful in this role, you should possess a strong technical background and a passion for people development. We are looking for the following qualifications:

• A degree equivalent to a Master's (BAC+5) and at least 6 years of experience in web development.
• Proficiency in our core stack, including NestJS, React, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, and Elasticsearch.
• Experience with Kubernetes, Gitlab, and Jest, along with a solid understanding of CI/CD principles in cloud environments.
• Strong emotional intelligence and the ability to navigate complex human dynamics, support team members through challenges, and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• A user-centric mindset and a genuine desire to work on products that provide meaningful social value.
• Fluency in French.
