Engineering Manager at Workera AI

We are Workera, a rapidly growing Series B startup based in Silicon Valley that is changing how global enterprises identify and mobilize talent. By using computational psychometrics and advanced AI, our platform helps industry leaders like Samsung, Siemens Energy, and the US Air Force make smarter decisions about their workforce. What is this role?

We are seeking an Engineering Manager to join our team on a full-time, on-site basis. This is a management-level position where you will lead one of our talented product delivery teams based in the EMEA region. You will play a vital role in scaling our engineering efforts while working closely with our product and design squads to hit ambitious milestones. We are looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is ready to help our engineers grow into the best versions of themselves.

• Take ownership of the technical, staffing, and product roadmaps for your team.
• Foster individual and team growth through consistent feedback, 1-on-1 coaching, and project-based learning.
• Ensure the team consistently delivers high-quality work on time while maintaining a healthy and inclusive culture.

What makes you a great fit?

To succeed in this role, you should have a strong background in managing teams within a fast-paced setting, including a proven history of recruiting and coaching talent. You are an excellent communicator who can align stakeholders on complex strategies. While you will be in a leadership role, we value hands-on experience as a developer and would love to see familiarity with our tech stack, which includes PostgreSQL, Elixir, Python, AWS, and React.

Additional requirements include:

• Experience with conflict resolution and effective coaching tactics.
• Familiarity with the Shape-Up methodology or similar product development frameworks.
• A genuine curiosity for emerging technologies, particularly in the field of AI.
• Proficiency in using AI tools like ChatGPT to enhance your daily workflow.
• Fluency in English.
