What is this role?
We are looking for an Engineering Manager to join our team on a full-time, hybrid basis. This is a management-level position where you will lead a full-stack software engineering team. You will be responsible for shaping and executing product roadmaps while fostering a positive, collaborative culture across our offices in Asia, North America, and Europe.
What will you do?
- Collaborate with Product Managers and cross-functional teams to define product roadmaps that align with our broader company vision.
- Oversee the technical architecture and execution of projects, ensuring they meet business objectives while balancing scope, capacity, and time constraints.
- Coach and develop your team members, focusing on their career growth, recruitment, and the creation of a cohesive, high-performing culture.
What makes you a great fit?
To be successful in this role, you should have a strong background in software development and leadership. We are looking for someone who brings the following:
- At least 5 years of professional software development experience and 2+ years of experience managing software engineers.
- Strong technical expertise in distributed systems, including SQL/NoSQL storage, asynchronous processing, and performance tuning.
- A track record of working with globally distributed, multi-functional teams to coordinate complex projects.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with a desire to foster a culture of teamwork and inclusion.
- Fluency in English.
