What is this role?

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a management-level position based in the Netherlands, operating under a hybrid work model. You will play a pivotal role in guiding our professionals, fostering a culture of innovation, and ensuring our teams remain focused on delivering high value to our customers.

What will you do?

• Provide leadership and coaching to our scrum teams, starting with three teams comprising over 15 developers and testers, with the expectation of further growth.
• Manage essential HR processes, including recruitment, onboarding, conducting one-on-one meetings, and overseeing performance feedback.
• Monitor and improve team processes and collaboration, working closely with Scrum Masters and Product Owners to resolve any obstacles.

You are a result-oriented leader with extensive experience in managing and coaching diverse teams. You possess strong people skills and know how to motivate others while navigating complex organizational dynamics. You are comfortable with Agile Scrum methodologies and have a solid understanding of the software development lifecycle, even if you are not involved in the hands-on coding yourself. Experience with DevOps in a SaaS environment is a significant advantage. Because we operate in the Netherlands, you must be fluent in Dutch and have a strong command of English.
